people with fidgety anxious hands will love these. think of them as a channel for excess energy. people with adhd and/or autism find them particularly helpful for emotional regulation and for managing pent up energy that can’t be readily expelled. if you struggle sitting still, or have self-focused behaviors like hair pulling or skin picking, fidgets are very helpful for keeping your hands distracted and busy.

they are also great when used in a medical setting. they can be stashed in waiting rooms for patients to fidget with, or used to keep kids busy if the appointment isn’t for them. therapists have also found use with fidgets, they help keep patients focused, and patients find them helpful to take their anxiety out on when dealing with difficult topics.

i find that walking around with a fidget helps my emotional regulation in public spaces. i get anxious and overstimulated easily in public which quickly translates into frustration and irritation. having something in my hand to take that stress out on is a game changer.

i started fidgetfiend because i have been using fidgets as a coping tool in my daily life for several years (if not longer) and i can’t imagine not having them as a coping tool. so i decided to provide these coping tools to others who need or want them.

i feel confident in saying that most (if not all) neurodivergent people, like me, have many daily struggles whether it’s overstimulation, trouble regulating emotions, agitation, you name, it, there’s a lot going on.

we are a small business located in coalfield, tennessee. everything is printed by us from our home studio. we source our files online and bring them to life using PLA filament, but we will add filament types as we grow.
